Recommended books for Titanic modelers
RMS Titanic: A ModelMaker's Manual by Peter Davies-Garner is an essential book for the serious modeler who needs scale drawings and plans to work from. Ken Marschall's Art of Titanic features artwork showing how the ship and its colors most likely appeared in real life. Father Browne's Titanic Album is a good source of large photographs for deck, hull, superstructure and crane details, although they're limited in number. All books are available through Alibris.com or Amazon.com.
Books on Titanic's construction, fitting out and interior spaces
Titanic in Photographs is a good book for general photographic references. TITANIC: The Ship Magnificent (a two-volume set) is considered the definitive reference on Titanic's design, construction and fitting out. These are unequalled for anyone wanting to know the ship in detail. Titanic or Olympic: Which Ship Sank? is an excellent book for anyone interested in the differences between the two ships as originally constructed. All are available through Alibris.com, Amazon.com and/or thehistorypress.co.uk.
